Brothers Miguel-angel and Juan Carlos Chavez started making custom shirts as a high school hobby in Omaha. The name MioTees comes from “mío” — “mine” in Spanish — a nod to Hispanic heritage and personal design. In 2017 they formed Chavez Brothers Ventures LLC so merchandising and newer digital businesses could share one parent company.
